Feb: 15. 1927 Called on Mr W. Hartley. 31 Old Burlington St. W. (Lenygon's) He had 4 Cotmans belonging to Mr Bulwer (Canada) for disposal.

(1) oil of windmill on r. cattle on l. Early (say, 1803) in bad condition. 13 x 22.

(2) Large watercolour - a baggage waggon being escorted to a castle by soldiers. Say 22 x 33. late (say, 1835)
(3) Large watercolour (c1810?) the gleaner. large female figure centre. foreground - hay carts & groups of hay workers middle distance - distant landscape (c.24 x 18)
(4) A large drawing of an actor in scarlet doublet & hose. late & very bad. (? Charles Kean) who in June '38 was playing Richard III at Drury Lane.)

These 4 pictures are now in the custody of the Misses Bulwer, Dalling, nr Uckfield. Sussex.
